I teach 9/10 ELA to newcomer English Language Learners at Roosevelt High School in Washington DC. My practice is influenced by Project Zero, the Folger Method, Caroline Pratt, Paulo Freire, the Internationals Network for Public Schools, and the kids in my classroom.
