Betsy Flanagan is a Social Media Strategist at Wells Fargo Bank. Previously she has held positions at Wells Fargo in Online Sales and Marketing, Internet Strategy, and Investor Relations. Outside of Wells Fargo, Betsy founded Startup Studio, a podcast featuring her interviews with some of the world’s most innovative entrepreneurs, including the founders of Southwest Airlines, Meebo, Feedburner, and ZipRealty, among others. Startup Studio has been distributed via San Jose Mercury News, the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business, chambers of commerce and AllBusiness.com. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Betsy was a Wealth Manager at DLJ, where she advised company founders who had recently sold or taken their companies public. Betsy also founded and sold Georgetown Tutors (now Georgetown Learning Centers, www.learnglc.com), a college prep tutoring center. Betsy has an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business and an A.B. in anthropology, cum laude, from Harvard College.
