Lose Control has built a reputation as the bastard child of SXSW music festival, we do not represent any specific record label, we are not showcasing a product to be purchased, we have one aim and one aim only, to bring you the best rocking dance party we can! 

Every year the powers at the official SXSW festival try their hardest to shut us down and prevent us from booking "official" artists.

Being the bastard child that we are, we refuse to lay down and die, so this year we are taking a different approach, we will not be announcing any acts performing, this will allow us to provide you with the highest quality of acts as they will not have to fear retribution from the powers that be at SXSW. We trust after the 3 previous years of Lose Control, you know what to expect, the absolute best fucking unofficial, no wristbands/badges, 18 & up dance party 6th street has to offer during SXSW Music Festival. We are all about the party, nothing more, nothing less, bands and djs that play for us do so because they know that the dancefloor at Lose Control is the sweatiest, craziest, hypest dancefloor in Texas for four nights in a row!

That's right we've got a new home 3 doors to the right from our old location at Vice, address is above, you will see our banners! and now we are going till 5am!!!! There will be a brief period where we clear out the club tidy up and reopen every night, so we will be the number 1 afterhours spot on 6th street! Reg bar hours the show is free 21& up (minor sur charge will apply for 18-20) and the Afterparty will be 10 dollars across the board.
