The Boom Bang, a garage/surf/punk band hails from Norman, Oklahoma. With several releases under their belt and the summer of 2011 touring the country, they are back again to perform at SXSW! Their most recent release was a split 7" record with fellow Oklahoma band, Copperheads, through Okie Dope Records. With a rowdy live show comes a performance you won't forget. The Boom Bang is also going on tour with Turf War leading up to the festival. The Boom Bang is similar to artists such as: Dikes of Holland, Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall and anything loud and catchy.
