Danz started doing Computer Magic the summer of 2010, in her downtime between school, DJing, and graphic designing. She makes bedroom electronic pop music that feels equally whimsical, claustrophobic, and ethereal.

His reverb-laden musical collages tend to lean towards anthemic, inspirational, and dream-driven themes. Maramag’s influences range from various ends of the musical spectrum. Blackbird Blackbird often tweaks nature-samples and mixes electronic textures with organic instrumentation (guitar, drums, synths, vocal-harmonies). When Frederic Riviere says something along the lines of “the sun and the sea are really important to me,” it’s easy to think, ‘Oh great, another chillwave artist who enjoys long walks on the beach and sitting on the dock of the bay all day.’
If only things were that simple. While he’s certainly into laser-guided synth lines and sepia-toned nostalgia trips, Riviere’s debut album as Anoraak (Wherever the Sun Sets) is more indebted to Italo disco, Motown-schooled funk and sepia-toned pop music—think: M83 on Ecstasy—than anything that’s lo-or-glo-fi. Which makes sense. After all, it’s not like the French producer/singer/multi-instrumentalist picked up his first battery-powered keyboard yesterday. Truth be told, Anoraak began as a bedroom-based project about eight years ago, as Riviere searched for sound engineer work and found nothing but bar gigs.

Fred Falke

France is a leader in feeding the world with top class house producers and DJs. Amongst all the top names France has to offer, Fred Falke's is of the highest regard. This legendary producer started off as a bass player in 1995 before diverting his attention to the realm production in the late 90s. His first release in 2000, Intro, a collaboration with Alan Braxe, is a testament to a future career of success. Intro received mass acclaim in the French House scene. The pair's streak of producing hits continued with joint remixes for Goldfrapp, Royksopp, Kelis and Justice. Falke went on to create partnerships with many big producers including collaborations with Kris Menace, Savage, Miami Horror and Knightlife.
